Summary:
Ensure timely deliveries, maintaining the company vehicles, and supporting team operations with clear communication. Communicate with the team daily regarding potential sales orders for customers in the direction of the scheduled route 24hours in advance and confirm any special delivery requests or requirements before departure. Load, deliver and unload product.
- Sales Order Coordination
- Review the delivery schedule twice daily and confirm the planned route.
- Check delivery schedules 24 hours in advance to prep for the following days' deliveries.
- Check delivery schedule in the morning and afternoon on day of delivery to ensure all orders are accounted for. (deliveries may be added to the schedule throughout the day)
- Notify customers and the team promptly if an order cannot be delivered at the scheduled time and provide an updated timeline.
- Compile all sales orders for daily deliveries.
- Return all signed sales orders.
- Load the truck with all required items the day prior to scheduled deliveries.
- Load, unload and transport compressed and flammable gases.
- Operate equipment including forklifts and other company vehicles.
- Report any discrepancies, insufficient inventory or missing items that are on the sales order to the team immediately.
- Compile a detailed list of empty cylinders/ liquids and submit it to the purchasing department every Monday morning.
- Unload and check in returned cylinders weekly.
- Cross reference the purchase order with what we received physically and report any discrepancies to the purchasing department.
- Conduct regular inspections of the company vehicles to ensure they are in proper working condition and address and report any issues.
- Unload product from trailer, by hand or using a hand cart, and place in designated customer storage areas. May include transporting product down ramps, stairs, or docks, in all weather conditions.
- Frequently lift, push, or move product that weighs 1-75 pounds, up to 100 pounds; frequently reach up to 72” to stack and unstack pallets and hand cart; constantly bend and twist while loading and unloading product, and retrieving items from trailer.
- Verify delivery of items with customer and obtain proper signatures. Contact management for authorization when discrepancies are on invoices. Communicate all errors/returns.
- Call in when a customer does not receive their entire order (shorts)
- Handle any customer complaints professionally.
- Handle company equipment properly, follow written driver safety rules, and perform a pre-trip inspection. Perform pre-trip and post-trip responsibilities in accordance with Department of Transportation (DOT) regulations and company policies and procedures.

Requirements:
- 21+ years of age.
- Hazmat Endorsement
- Must submit to a pre-employment background check and drug screen.
- License to drive - valid Class A Commercial Driver License (CDL) with a clean driving record.
- Maintain current DOT Physical.
- Ability to read, write and communicate in English.
- Touch freight – may need to lift, push or move product weighing an average of 40-60 pounds and as much as 100 pounds repeatedly.

- Ability to climb up and down from large trucks
- Flexibility – overtime as required, weekends and holidays as business needs require.
Preferred Requirements
- 1 year customer delivery experience preferred.
- 6 months hand cart/hand truck experience preferred.
- Hazmat Endorsement
Job Type: Full-time
Position Location:
This position is based in Cedar City, Utah.
Pay: $26.00 to $30.00 per hour depending on experience.
