Description
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced project superintendent to join our team. As a project superintendent, you will be responsible for overseeing the successful completion of construction projects, ensuring that they are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest standards of quality. You will collaborate with architects, engineers, and subcontractors to coordinate and manage all aspects of construction projects, from start to finish for projects across the Intermountain West.
In this role, you will be the main point of contact on the construction site, providing leadership and guidance to the project team. You will be responsible for managing and directing the work of subcontractors, ensuring that they adhere to safety protocols and work in accordance with project plans and specifications. Additionally, you will monitor progress and resolve any issues or challenges that may arise during the construction process.
The successful candidate will have a proven track record of successfully managing large-scale construction projects. You will possess excellent organizational and communication skills, as well as the ability to multitask and prioritize effectively. Strong leadership and problem-solving abilities are essential, as you will be responsible for making critical decisions that impact the success of the project.
Responsibilities
- Oversee the day-to-day operations of construction projects, ensuring that they are completed on time and within budget
- Coordinate and manage all activities on the construction site, including scheduling, subcontractor management, and material procurement
- Collaborate with architects, engineers, and subcontractors to ensure that project plans and specifications are followed
- Monitor project progress and take corrective action as necessary to ensure project goals are achieved
- Conduct regular site inspections and maintain a safe working environment for all workers
- Manage and resolve any issues or challenges that may arise during the construction process
- Prepare and submit progress reports to management and clients
Requirements
- A minimum of 5 years of experience as a project superintendent in the construction industry preferred
- Strong knowledge of construction methods, materials, and processes
- Excellent leadership and team management skills
- Proven ability to effectively communicate and collaborate with various stakeholders, including architects, engineers, subcontractors, and clients
- Strong attention to detail and ability to prioritize tasks effectively
- Ability to read and interpret project plans, specifications, and construction documents
- Knowledge of safety regulations and best practices in the construction industry
- Ability to oversee projects throughout the Intermountain West
