Description

We are looking for a skilled CNC Operator to join our team in our steel fabrication shop. As a CNC Operator, you will be responsible for programming, operating, and maintaining computer numerical control (CNC) machines. Your attention to detail, technical skills, and ability to work independently and in a team will be critical in producing high-quality products efficiently.

As a CNC Operator, you will set up and adjust machine settings to ensure precision and accuracy in the manufacturing process. Additionally, you will be responsible for inspecting finished products to ensure they meet specifications and making necessary adjustments as needed.

Responsibilities

  • Set up and operate CNC machines according to specific job orders and blueprints
  • Load raw materials into the machine and position them for processing
  • Monitor machine operations to detect any issues or malfunctions
  • Perform routine maintenance on machines to ensure optimal performance
  • Inspect finished products to ensure they meet quality standards
  • Verify all parts are cut to print and stacked in assigned areas
  • Troubleshoot and resolve any issues that arise during the production process
  • Collaborate with team members to optimize processes and productivity

Requirements

  • Teamwork mindset
  • Proven experience as a CNC Operator or similar role
  • Solid knowledge of CNC programming and operating procedures
  • Familiarity with different types of CNC machines and their capabilities
  • Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings
  • Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills
  • Excellent hand-eye coordination and manual dexterity
  • Good communication skills and ability to work well in a team environment

Schedule:

  • Monday - Thursday 6:00 pm to 6:00 am. Additional days on occasion depending on project delivery demands.
